That’s one of my favorite quotes, attributed to United States Navy rear admiral and American computer scientist Grace Hopper (1906 – 1992). Standard resumes are one of the many places I see this issue exist - white paper, black text, this is me. In the age of bionic eyes going obsolete and blockchain becoming the new banking, some how we still accept a description of someone’s entire work experience in a format as exciting as an IKEA instruction manual. They are best suited for data scrapes.
Hopefully, you are not looking to work with a bookshelf put together with an allen wrench, but a dynamic, creative professional who enjoys extending every tool on hand to craft a message.
